We were at the Alligator Rock on the North Shore yesterday, snorkling and enjoying the beach and a rare shady spot when suddenly we saw three Hawaiian sea Turtles! They were so close to the beach, in calf-deep water, so we got awesome pics. Some of them look like oil paintings, I may have to try that medium soon with my painting, inspired! LOVE happy surprises~
My name is Erika Swartzkopf and I'm an artist/musician and comic living in Hawaii, originally from Pennsylvania. I fell in love with and am inspired daily by the fabulously bright colors of the ocean and the mountains of this gorgeous island of oahu and hope to spread my abstract watercolor art and a large order of music, aloha & comedy with my 'Female Comics of Hawaii' group to the rest of the world~ Join me!
